DIANE Privacy Policy

DIANE ("the App") is operated by Camden Lee as an individual developer.

Data we collect

• Email address (for account creation)
• Contact information you voluntarily enter into the app
• Voice recordings (processed in real-time, not stored on our servers)
• App usage data (number of AI queries made)

How we use your data

• Voice recordings are transcribed via OpenAI's Whisper API and immediately discarded
• Your contact names, notes, transcribed voice text, and conversation messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate AI responses — this data is processed in real-time and not stored by either service for training purposes

Third-party services

• Firebase (Google) — authentication and data storage. Privacy policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• OpenAI Whisper API — transcribes voice recordings into text. Voice audio is not retained after transcription. Privacy policy: openai.com/policies/privacy-policy
• Anthropic Claude API — powers AI conversations and contact processing. Contact details, notes, and messages are transmitted to Anthropic. Privacy policy: anthropic.com/privacy
